If you hired someone other than Mountain Valley Painting or if you painted yourself, there may be a few mistakes that happened that are making your paint look cheap. Avoid these mistakes or give Mountain Valley Painting a call!
- Mistake number one – not edging. It’s important to edge around baseboards, ceilings, permanent fixtures, light switches, and outlets. You can’t roll right up the edge without making a mess, so make sure you edge to avoid that!
- Mistake number two – not picking the right brush or roller. Different textures require different brushes and rollers to avoid marks and obvious patterns. Know your surface!
- Mistake number three – not testing your paint color. Paint colors look different depending on the natural light in your room and also the light bulbs you use. Test a small sample in your room before going wild!
- Mistake number four – painting too soon. When you move into a house or office space, sometimes you can get a little eager to make the space your own! But it’s important to know what you actually want and how the rest of the area will affect the paint color. We recommend being in a place for six months to a year before dramatically changing a paint color!
- Mistake number five – not calling in Mountain Valley Painting when you ought to! We guarantee no spills, no drips, and no messes, every time. Don’t bite off more than you can chew, Mountain Valley Painting is affordable and punctual, what more could you want?!
